Testimonials

"Right from the start, Laura made me feel really at ease. She asked about my story, why I decided to go to therapy, and what I wanted to get from therapy. I was really struggling at the time, and the work we did really helped me understand what was going on for me, and how to start making positive changes. I learned so much about myself."

"My counselling helped me realise that I had a strength that I didn't know I had. I was able to uncover what was blocking me from tapping into that strength. It has definitely changed my life."
"With Laurel House Therapy, every session gives me a safe, welcoming, non judgemental space where I feel heard and supported. The kindness and care I've received has helped me grow in ways I never expected and after every session I want to return and work on myself more. I am so grateful for this journey."

The Cabin

Laurel House Therapy is located in a tranquil, private setting in County Westmeath, just a few miles from both Tyrrellsspass and Kilbeggan, and close to the towns of Tullamore, Mullingar, Kinnegad, and Athlone. It is a unique, purpose-built log cabin, designed as a warm and inviting space in which clients can feel welcome and relaxed. This helps to ease any potential anxieties and apprehensions that most clients naturally experience when attending their first therapy session.

For those who prefer not to attend in person, therapy sessions can be facilitated online via Zoom.
